What characterizes us

Life Sciences and Financing

For more than two decades, we have been experiencing the needs of both sides: as a searching start-up and as a financier.

Peter Biewald (left) studied economics and worked for 14 years at DAX companies in various management positions within the financial sector with a focus on corporate finance, M&A, IR and capital markets. Since 2002 he has been working as CFO/ COO in larger medium-sized, mostly listed companies, among others in the biotechnology sector. Peter has several supervisory board mandates and also invests in early stage companies himself.

Marcus Irsfeld (right) studied business administration at the Westfälische Wilhelms University in Münster. He has been and still is CFO of several biotech and medtech companies. Since 2009 he has been working in parallel for various companies, especially in the life science sector. He is also a jury member in the business plan competition in Bavaria, BayStartUP for Northern Bavaria with the Nuremberg-Erlangen Metropolitan Region specializing in medical technology.
